Verco
Work beautifully.
As one of Britain’s leading office furniture design and manufacturing companies, Verco already had a strong following of loyal, valued customers that appreciate the quality and service on offer. But, with an ever-changing market and a shift in focus from office working to hybrid/home working they wanted to change how their brand was percieved; appealing to a new target audience by highlighting their design-led approach and innovative thinking.
Verco wanted to retain their existing logo so I began by developing the brand language and core messaging. Who are Verco, why do they do what they do, what is their purpose, mission and vision? From answering these questions I was able to determine brand values and a new strapline of ‘Work beautifully’ that was woven into the creative. Elegantly shot photography and considered, minimalist designs let the products speak for themselves whilst highlighting crafted design features through copy and curved graphic shapes. This thinking was then continued across a mini catalogue to be used at Clerkenwell Design Week, an extremely important event in the Verco calendar and the perfect place to introduce the new brand evolution. To highlight the new brand language and to create an eye catching design feature, a smaller brochure printed on an uncoated pink stock was stitched into the larger brochure. This allowed the Verco story to be told without compromising the beautiful photography within the main brochure.

“Just to say the CDW catalogue arrived, and I presented it to the Sales team yesterday afternoon and there was universal delight and approval. I think you have exactly fulfilled the brief on this one; everything about this catalogue, although small in size, is massive in the impression it gives of our Company, our ethos, our corporate personality and our products. I think that it is a huge step forward in the right direction for our Company, one which we could not have accomplished alone, without you and your very clever team of people. You have however set the bar very high for the next project!!”
Chris Riley, Sales & Marketing Director at Verco
